Broken Bow Fire And Rescue To Escort James Bissonette Home
Broken Bow Fire Department's James Bissonette will be inducted into the National Fallen Firefighters Honor Roll this weekend.

According to Broken Bow Fire Chief Jason Baum, the Broken Bow Fire Department will be honoring James Bissonette on Friday, September 24 by bringing the fallen firefighter home.

According to Baum, BBFD will meet the family at the Custer/Sherman County line on NE Highway 2, where they will then escort James’ body to Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Baum encourages citizens to safely line the streets to honor the fallen hero.

The motorcade will arrive in Broken Bow at approximately 4 PM. They will travel west on Highway 2, through downtown, and south on 8th Street.
