The Broken Bow Elks Club is hosting their first annual golf tournament Saturday September 30 starting at 9am. KCNI/KBBN spoke with organizer Josh Page about what the day will bring.
“This Saturday September 30 we are hosting our first annual 4 person scramble for the Elks club. We are looking to raise money for our scholarships and our veterans programs, and everything else that we do in and around Custer County,” Page said.
All of the money raised will go towards kids programs and scholarships in the community. Everyone is welcome to join, including novice golfers.
Page added, “We have flag prizes on every single hole, so there’s 9 flag prizes out there, plus we are going to have a raffle on different things that businesses have donated to us. We are really looking forward to kicking this off and making it a big deal.” A meal is provided at the end of the tournament. The cost is $200 per four person team.
You are invited to call Josh Page at (402)418-1152 to reserve your spot and let him know if you need a cart.
