BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Elks Lodge 1688 recently made donations to both the Broken Bow Area Food Pantry and North Park Elementary School in Broken Bow.

In conjunction with the Elks National Foundation, $800 was donated to the food pantry. The money will be used for items every family needs, along with essential food items that the pantry stocks.

North Park Elementary School counselor Biannca Witt represented the school in receiving the last delivery of new shoes and socks for students at the school. The New Shoe Project, with $2,200 invested in by the Broken Bow Elks Lodge and the Elks National Foundation, saw twenty eight pairs of new shoes and socks provided to four schools in Custer County. The Lodge was thrilled to provide many happy children and families with a little extra help and a helping hand resource.
