Broken Bow Elks Lodge celebrating busy stretch of events

A busy couple of weeks just went by for Broken Bow Elks Lodge #1688, which saw a new duty at the state level, an award for the lodge at the state convention, and the addition of two new members.

PER Abdul Sughayar recently accepted his new duty as Sergeant at Arms at the State Elks Convention in Kearney. He will serve in the role for the Nebraska State Elks Association during the 2025-2026 lodge year. State President Jeremy Brandt installed Sughayar.

Also at the state convention, Broken Bow Lodge #1688 Exalted Ruler Mick Clark accepted an award for the Lodge along with other Lodge Exalted Rulers.

The lodge initiated two new members, Jeremy and Nicole Shipe, on May 1. Scott and Amy Cyboron will serve as sponsors for the newly initiated members.
