BROKEN BOW, Neb.— Over $9,000 in scholarships and awards were presented at the recent annual Elks Scholarship Reception, hosted by Broken Bow Elks Lodge No. 1688. Levi French served as guest speaker for the event.

Recipients of the Past Exalted Rulers scholarships were Chenney Dishman of Callaway, Dylan Pandorf of Callaway, and Ava Paitz of Litchfield. Presenters were Gary Wright and Bill Shirley.Newman and Mildred Harris scholarships were presented to Alyssa Lawrence of Ord and Neltje Reiff of Callaway.
