The Broken Bow Elks Lodge has been hosting Veteran seminars/dinners for over 10 years now, and they are hosting two dinners the first full week in November in Broken Bow and Ord.
The Veterans Seminar/Dinner at the Broken Bow Elks Lodge (625 S. 10th Ave) will be on Wednesday, November 8 with a social hour starting at 6:00 p.m. and dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. To register, you are invited to call Barb at 308-870-1264 or Shannon at 308-870-3707/308-872-2617. Registrations need to be done by Tuesday, November 7.
The Veterans Seminar/Dinner at the Ord Vets Club in Ord (246 S 15th Street) will be on Thursday, November 9. Gathering time is at 5:30 p.m. with dinner being held at 6:00 p.m. To register, you are invited to call Stan or Nancy at 308-872-6192. Registration needs to be done by Sunday, November 5.
Included with both of the seminars/dinners, Emory Haines a Veteran Service Officer will give a brief overview of all the changes, new programs, and benefits available with the VA, and just inform Veterans about the services they might not have been aware of.
