Broken Bow City Council to discuss change in planning commission numbers Tuesday

BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow City Council will convene tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building Auditorium for its final meeting in June.

The council will review the consent agenda, which includes the minutes from the prior meeting and the bills as posted.

In new business, the council will consider opening a public hearing on Ordinance 1270, which deals with a change in the number of members on the city’s planning commission.

Under the proposed ordinance, the number of planning commissioners would become 7, all of which shall represent, according to the proposal, different professions or occupations within the municipality, insofar as is possible.

The council will also have consideration of approving the ordinance. The meeting will conclude with mayoral and council comments.

As always, the meeting is open to the public; a full agenda is attached.
