BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow City Council will hold its mid-month meeting on Tuesday, March 14 at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building Auditorium.
The council will consider approving the minutes from the February 24 and March 7 meetings and the bills as posted.
In new business, the council will consider appointing 3 members to the Airport Board for terms running until February 2025, and 3 members to the Park Board with terms to run ending February of 2027.
Additionally, the council will accept repair bids for the Municipal Building’s roof; bids are to be received at the City Clerk’s Office no later than 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7.
A public hearing will be held regarding Ordinance 1267, which pertains to the Green Energy Program, and would confirm a subscription with the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska (MEAN). The council will also have the option of approving that ordinance, and of approving Resolution 2023-1, which would appoint Electric Superintendent Blake Waldow to serve as Director to the MEAN Board of Directors, and City Treasurer Megan Linn as Alternative Director.
