BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new businesses into its family on Wednesday afternoon with its time-honored tradition of ribbon cutting.

Bristol Sprinkler Services and Smile Button Photography, both of Broken Bow, were greeted by a host of community members, Chamber employees, and even Senator Matt Williams, no stranger to supporting burgeoning businesses in the city and beyond.

“One of the joys I’ve had in being a senator for the past 8 years is coming to a lot of ribbon cuttings here in Broken Bow because there’s always a lot happening even now with Harlee and Zach’s new businesses.”

Zach and Michaela Bristol stand alongside Senator Matt Williams as they prepare to cut their ribbon.

Zach Bristol, owner of Bristol Sprinkler Services, has roughly 8 years of experience installing sprinkler systems, which he first learned working under his father. This year, however, marks the first he’s waded into the waters of self-employment. In addition to sprinkler installation and repair, his company also does sodding and landscaping work.

He and his wife Michaela are the only employees, though over the past summer he’s relied on temporary high school workers to help during his busiest season. He can be contacted by phone at (308) 870-0260.

Harlee White’s Smile Button Photography is a venture all her own; in addition to becoming only the second photographer recognized by the Chamber of Commerce, she is also the Chamber’s newest employee.

Harlee specializes in portraiture, covering subjects and events ranging from senior pictures to wedding photography, and everything in between. A running portfolio of her work can be found on her Facebook page, where she can be contacted for bookings. She can also be found via phone at (308) 760-2541.
