BROKEN BOW- The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet and meeting at the One Box Convention Center Saturday night.
Special award presentations began the evening.
RT Ace Hardware received both business of the year as well as excellence in customer service (business category). Non-Profit organization of the year went to the Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department. Melanee Nixon with Lillie Kate Boutique was awarded with excellence in customer service (individual category). Citizen of the year went to a pair, Breanna Kaup and Alicia Hermsmeyer. Chamber Executive Director Stephanie Grafel also presented a special award that didn’t appear in the program: a Friend of the Chamber award for the Grocery Kart in Broken Bow.
Milestone anniversary business plaques were presented next. Businesses recognized at this year’s banquet ranged from 5 years to 135 years in business.
