Broken Bow Chamber hosts GROW Award presentations Wednesday

The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce presented two GROW Awards to member businesses on Wednesday morning. GROW Awards are presented to chamber members who are nominated for investing in their business, and therefore the community, through remodels, facility enhancements, product expansion, or by offering more services.

The first GROW Award of the day was presented to Ryan and Liz Anderson at The Garden Center. Ryan and Liz recently completed a greenhouse project in March that had been in the works for over a year. Standing to the east of the other greenhouse on the grounds, the new greenhouse is 144 feet long by 30 feet wide.

The West side of the Broken Bow square was the site of the second GROW Award of the day, at Sandhills Custom Creations. Owners Chaz and Trent Fecht recently purchased a large UV printer in order to expand their offering of in-house produced items for their customers. The printer is capable of doing large banners, a large variety of styles of stickers, as well as car decals and lettering. Chaz also thanked Art and Diane Anderson, the owners of the building, for the placement of new storefront windows.
