BROKEN BOW, Neb.— Red ribbon was sliced on South C Street in Broken Bow on Thursday afternoon for Nourished Skin by SM and owner Sarah Mattox.
The location was full of Mattox’s family, fellow business members, and chamber board members excited to ‘make it official’.
“I’m a licensed esthetician. I do custom facials, lash and brow services, spray tanning, and makeup services,” Mattox explained.
This line of work hasn’t always been what Mattox does, but she did say it’s always been a possibility. She previously worked for more than a decade doing architectural, mechanical, civil, and legal drafting before deciding to step away from the desk.
“Really helping women out in being confident in their own skin has always been in the back of my mind, and so I finally stepped into that role,” said Mattox.
Nourished Skin by SM has most appointments fill on weekdays between 5:15 PM and up until 9 PM and on weekends by appointment. Mattox can be reached on her website, Facebook, and Instagram.
