The Broken Bow Marching band was in action over the weekend at the Cozad Hay Days parade.
Broken Bow was one of three high school bands in attendance at the parade. Broken Bow Band Director Nestor Pelayo told KCNI/KBBN that the parade was not judged, but as an exhibition parade it was a good warm-up for later performances. Pelayo’s evaluation of the performance was that there was still some work to be done, but overall the students did a good job.
Next up for the marching band is UNK Band Days. The Band Days parade steps off at 10:00 AM in downtown Kearney on Saturday September 20.
