BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, August 30 at 9 a.m. on the top floor of the Custer County Courthouse to round out the month.
On the docket will be the standard end-of-month claims, the Board of Equalization’s tax list corrections, and appeals to cross county right-of-ways.
In new business, the board is expected to approve inventories for several county departments, and consider for approval multiple resolutions including substitutions of securities for Nebraska State Bank (Res. #33-2022), declaring County Property as surplus (Res. # 31-2022), an authorization of the county board to sign the certification of program compliance with the Nebraska Board of Public Roads (Res. #34R-2022), and others.
The board will also hear from the Seven Valley Historical Society and Custer County Historical Museum and is expected to approve their requests for the upcoming fiscal year. Email policy will be set, and most of the county departments’ office budgets will be reviewed.
