BROKEN BOW – Breast cancer affects about 1 in 8 women according to the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, and one of the women affected happens to be Shauna Barker.
On Saturday, February 3 at Sylvester’s in Broken Bow, there will be a free-will donation meal from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a silent auction from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
According to Larry Cotnoir, there is one item that will be auctioned off that is a one-of-a-kind item you cannot find anywhere else.
Those who wish to contribute but cannot make the benefit are invited to drop off a monetary donation at Nebraska State Bank. The account is under the “Shauna Barker Foundation”.
