Assistance Made Available for Broken Bow Students This Summer

The Broken Bow Schools have dismissed classes for the summer. Students typically look forward to summer vacation. However, this year many students left the classroom with heavy hearts and unanswered questions due to the tragic loss of Mrs. Angie Miller their Elementary School Counselor.

Darren Toby, Superintendent of the Broken Bow Schools, released a statement on Friday May 20th to extend the schools sympathy to Mrs. Miller’s family and friends. He also assured parents and students that assistance will be made available this summer. Mr. Tobey’s statement reads:

“All of us at Broken Bow Schools extend our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Miller’s family and friends.  Mrs. Miller was a great mother, educator, counselor, and friend to many people.  She helped guide, shape, and teach so many students during her career.  If your child is having a particularly difficult time dealing with this situation, please contact the school at 308-872-2982 and we will provide additional assistance as needed throughout the summer.”
