Several area students have been named Academic All-State award winners by the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association.
Recognized students are nominated by their schools, based on their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity.
Since 2006, the program has grown at a steady pace. That year, 2,838 students earned the award. For the 2022-23 season, 7,541 students were honored. This 2024 spring season alone has garnered 2,610 more honorees. In all, approximately 109,958 students have earned the honor over the past 18 years.
