CURTIS – Several area students have been named to the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture’s (NCTA) Dean’s List and Honor Roll.

Eight enrolled students qualified for the Dean’s List, one of whom was Garret Duba of Ogallala, who attained a perfect 4.0 grade point average to garner the honor.

Six area students made the college’s honor roll; Reagan Ross and Brandi Coons, both of Callaway, Trevor Schneider of Cozad, Miya Rocha or Ord, Kyra Hearn of Gothenburg, and McKenna Darby of Pleasanton all reached a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.99 to qualify.

To qualify for the Dean’s List and Honor Roll at NCTA, students must be fulltime enrollees, with at least 12 credit hours for the semester to be eligible. NCTA offers academic programs in veterinary technology, agribusiness, agronomy, agriculture mechanics, animal sciences, and agriculture education. The college is a unique part of the University of Nebraska system as the sole two-year institution.
