Jeffrey B. Plumb, age 62 of Yucca Vista, California, appeared for sentencing in Custer County District Court on Thursday, April 2nd. In August of 2025, Plumb was charged with two felony counts— possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). In January, a plea agreement was reached and in exchange for dismissal of the second count, Plumb pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (methamphetamine). On Thursday, Judge Karin Noakes followed the presentence investigation recommendation and ordered Plumb to serve 6-12 months of incarceration with credit for 234 days served, making him eligible for release.
