The Broken Bow City Council will meet Tuesday evening at the Municipal Auditorium for a budget hearing at 5:00 pm followed by the regular meeting to commence immediately following.
The budget hearing agenda holds one single new business item, a hearing on the 2023-2024 appropriation bill.

Following the consent agenda, the Council will hear from Josh Page regarding DYO Tyke Arnold Field improvements.
A public hearing on a nuisance property located at 843 North 6th Avenue is on the agenda next, followed by consideration of approving a course of action to be taken on said property.
A public hearing on Ordinance 1271, the 2023-2024 Appropriation Bill is followed by consideration of approval.
An additional 1% increase to the restricted funds, resolution 2023-12 is up for discussion and a decision before taxes and setting the final property tax request for 2023-2024 comes up for discussion.
The meeting will close with a hearing, possible reading, and decision on Ordinance 1272 which is a 2023-2024 wage ordinance.
The next City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday September 26th at 6pm in the Broken Bow Municipal Building.
