BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Ag Society will hold its first post-fair meeting tomorrow evening, August 10 at 7 p.m. at the Shooting Sports Building on the Custer County Fairgrounds.
The board is expected to approve the minutes from the July 13 meeting as well as the monthly bills, and hear reports from the Extension Office, 4-H Council, and Fairgrounds Administrator.
In new business, the Ag Society will recap the 2023 Custer County Fair, discuss the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, and try to set the dates for the 2024 county fair.
In old business, the board will revisit, and hopefully finalize, its insurance premiums and building values; the fairgrounds have recently shifted insurance providers.
