The Custer County fair is in full swing with livestock shows beginning today. Starting at 8 a.m. is the 4-H Swine, both market and breeding, followed by FFA swine. At 8:30 a.m., the 4-H horse show begins. Beef carcass interview judging starts at 1 p.m. FFA sheep judging starts at 4 p.m., followed by 4-H sheep judging at 5.
This evening brings lots of fun; starting at 5, the BBC Kids Zone opens, and commercial booths open under the grandstand. At 5:30 is the Free Pit BBQ, and finally at 7:30 is the bull riding.
Tomorrow’s events include the beef and small-animal shows.
