Frost Meets With Media Ahead of Start of Fall Camp

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost and several players met with the media Thursday, as the Huskers opened fall camp.

Frost hit upon several topics, but a primary emphasis of fall camp will be the continued focus on limiting self-inflicted wounds, including turnovers and penalties.

Frost believes that the Huskers’ experience will help the attention to details in areas.  Because of that, the coach believes there may not be quite as many questions coming into this season as compared to past years.

Coach Frost also talked about the splitting up of practice areas to get additional reps for the younger players, while trying to find a balance for the returnees and the ‘super seniors’ who gained an extra year of eligibility because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nebraska kicks off its season with a Big Ten West showdown against Illinois on the road August 28th.  Once again this season, all Husker football games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM a proud affiliate of the Huskers Sports Network.
