Adaptive Grazing Field Day in Anselmo
On Monday, Sept. 21, Halter and Noble Research Institute are hosting a free, hands-on adaptive grazing field day at McGinn Ranch in Anselmo, open to ranchers interested in learning more about rotational grazing and grazing management.
The day will include an overview of rotational grazing fundamentals from Noble Research Institute, firsthand experiences from local ranchers and an in-pasture demonstration of Halter’s virtual fencing technology. Host rancher Matt McGinn has practiced adaptive grazing for more than a decade on his all-native-grass ranch and recently transitioned from polywire to virtual fencing.
