Sub-District volleyball tournaments begin on Monday across the state.
Broken Bow will compete in the C1-8 sub-district tournament. The Lady Indians are the #5 seed in the six team sub. Broken Bow will face Fillmore Central in Geneva on Monday with the winner advancing to face top seed Aurora at Aurora on Tuesday. O’Neill will host Gibbon on Monday with the winner advancing to face #2 seed St. Paul at Aurora on Tuesday. All Broken Bow matches from the C1-8 tournament will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com. C1-8 BRACKET
Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford will compete in the D2-10 sub-district tournament. Mullen is the top seed and will host the five team tournament. Arthur County will play Cody-Kilgore on Monday with the winner advancing to play Mullen later in the day. Sandhills/Thedford is the #2 seed and will face Hyannis on Monday. The winners will advance out to the sub-district final on Tuesday. All Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford matches from the D2-10 tournament will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com with a live video stream, accompanied by the radio call, available through the Sandhills Express Facebook Page and You Tube Channel. Twin Loup will host the D2-8 sub-district tournament at Sargent. The Lady Wolves are the top seed and will face Sandhills Valley on Monday. On the other side of the bracket, Anselmo-Merna, the #2 seed, will face Burwell. Monday’s winners will meet one another for the sub-district championship on Tuesday. D2-8 BRACKET
South Loup and Arcadia/Loup City will both compete at the six team C2-8 tournament. South Loup is the #5 seed and will play at Alma on Monday with the winner to play top seed Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday. Arcadia/Loup City is the #3 seed and will host Sandy Creek on Monday with the winner advancing to play the #2 seed Sutton. C2-8 BRACKET
Ansley/Litchfield will be among the teams competing in the loaded D1-9 sub-district tournament. The Lady Spartans are the #3 seed and will face Central Valley on Monday at Amherst. Amherst is the top seed and will play Monday against the winner of Pleasanton vs Palmer. Monday’s winners will face off Tuesday for the sub-district championship. D1-9 BRACKET
SEM is the #2 seed at the D2-7 sub-district tournament hosted by top seed Wilcox-Hildreth. SEM will face #3 seed Brady on Monday with the winner advancing to the sub-district final on Tuesday. D2-7 BRACKET
