The Broken Bow girls golf team competed at the Cozad Invitational on Monday. Broken Bow placed third in the girls team standings with a 409 team score. Cozad won the team title with a 386 team score and GICC was second with a 403.
All five Broken Bow golfers finished in the top 20. Two shots separated Broken Bow’s top three golfers on the day. Caylee Cook placed 7th with a round of 99. Adelyn Kirkpatrick was 8th with a round of 100, and Tiana Hurlburt placed 11th overall with a round of 101. Hallie Meyer placed 17th with a round of 109, and Emersyn Palmer was 20th with a round of 110. The individual champion was Macy Jorgensen of Minden with a round of 5 over par 76.
Broken Bow is scheduled to return to the Cozad Golf Course on Tuesday for the Southwest Conference Tournament.
