The Nebraska High School Rodeo fall season wrapped up this past weekend with two rodeo performances in Broken Bow at the Custer County Fairgrounds.
Among the area highlights, Broken Bow’s Kelstyn Lindner won the bareback competition on Saturday with a 67 point ride and had the top ride on Sunday with a score of 60. Lindner had the only qualified ride in the bull riding on Saturday winning the event with a 76 point ride. Lindner would finish third in the boys all around standings on Saturday.
Shaylee Milleson of Dunning was runner-up in the girls all around on Sunday. Milleson was third in the breakaway on Sunday with a time of 3.39 seconds and was fourth in the pole bending with a time of 21.090 seconds. Milleson was third in the pole bending during Saturday’s rodeo.
Other top three finishes from area cowboys and cowgirls included Tatum Connell of Thedford runner-up in the breakaway on Sunday and Colton Leach of Dunning was third in the tie down roping on Sunday.
