The Broken Bow girls golf team competed at the Nebraska Dunes Challenge at Awarii Dunes Golf Course at Axtell on Thursday. It was a great day for the Lady Indians who finished as the team runner-up with a season best 383 team score for the 18 hole event. GICC won the team title with a 369 and Adams Central was third with a 404.
Broken Bow placed four golfers in the top 15. Tiana Hurlburt and Adelyn Kirkpatrick tied for tenth with a round of 95 and Caylee Cook was one shot behind with a round of 96 to place 12th. Emersyn Palmer tied for 13th with a round of 97. Hallie Meyer rounded out the Broken Bow varsity scoring with a round of 122.
Macy Jorgensen of Minden was the individual champion with a low round of 72.
Broken Bow will compete at the Gothenburg Invite at Wildhorse Golf Course on Tuesday (9/15).
