Naomi Bramer age 93, of Amherst, NE passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Bertrand Nursing Home on August 27, 2026. Born on July 4, 1933, in Weissert, NE.
Naomi was the daughter of George and Agnes (Roy) Pirnie. She had four brothers and six sisters who proceeded her in death. Her early years were spent in Sargent, NE where she attended Sargent District 183.
On November 9, 1955, she married Weldon Bramer in Sargent. They lived in various locations including Mason City, Litchfield, Idaho, and finally Amherst. Weldon passed away on September 1, 2021. Their union was blessed with three sons Kyle (Linda) Bramer, Ken (Sherry) Bramer, and Kerwin (Jane) Bramer.
Naomi loved the farm, horses, watching the baby calves run and jump, flowers, lime pickles, and the dogs. She loved to sew, make quilts, crafts, crochet doilies and most of all she loved her grandkids and took care of them often.
Survivors include her sons Ken (Sherry) Bramer and Kerwin (Jane) Bramer, grandkids Misty (Alan) Casper, Brandon (Sarah) Bramer, Brett (Ashley) Bramer, Jared (Autumn) Bramer, Kent (Laura) Bramer, Brian (Shelby) Bramer, and Dustin (Delanie) Bramer, 11 great-grandchildren, and her Texas friend Karin Dixon.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, husband Weldon, son Kyle and daughter-in-law Linda Bramer, and granddaughter Deanna Darlene Bramer.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Elk Creek Cemetery. A visitation and time to greet the family will be held on Monday, August 31st from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
