The Broken Bow girls golf team opened its season Monday with a dual against Kearney High played at the par three Elks Country Golf Course in Kearney.
Kearney won the dual with a 139 team score. Broken Bow finished with a 154 for the nine hole event.
Broken Bow was led by Emersyn Palmer who finished with a 36 which was tied for third best on the day. Tiana Hurlburt finished with a 38 which was 8th best on the day and Caylee Cook finished with a 39 for ninth. Other Broken Bow scores included Adelyn Kirkpatrick (41), Brinlee Chaplin (48), Hallie Meier (49), and Mandi Mattox (53).
The Broken Bow girls golf team will travel back to Kearney on Thursday when they compete in the Kearney Catholic Invitational at Meadowlark Hills Golf Course.
