Only two criminal cases were heard by Judge Karin Noakes in Custer County District Court on Thursday, August 20th.
Seth W. Vose, age 34 of Arcadia, appeared for an arraignment. He was charged in June with 3rd offense DUI, aggravated, a Class IIIA felony. Vose entered a plea of not guilty and a jury trial in the case was set for October 19, 2026.
Also appearing for an arraignment was Shali D. Chavez, age 37 of Broken Bow. Chavez pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a Class IV felony. Her case was also set for a jury trial on October 19th.
