Zac Sweet moves into the head coaching role for the South Loup football program after serving two seasons as an assistant coach. South Loup will compete in 8-man football which is divided into three classes this season with the Bobcats competing in Class D2.
South Loup will compete in the D2-5 district with Arapahoe, Bertrand, Franklin, Loomis and Wilcox-Hildreth. South Loup begins its season on the road August 28th when they face North Platte St. Pat’s followed by their home opener against Sandhills Valley on September 3rd.
Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will feature South Loup on September 3rd when they host Sandhills Valley and again on October 16th when they host Loomis. Games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
