Tomorrow brings the Sandhills Open Road Challenge Race at 8:30 a.m.
Starting at 6 a.m. on August 8 is the volunteer breakfast. Then the road will close at 7 a.m. The SORC Race begins at 8:30 a.m. in Arnold. Watch the race online with Sandhills Express YouTube and Facebook pages or listen on KBBN 95.3. Replays will be available with Sandhills Express.
At 5:30 p.m. is the free-will donation barbecue with all proceeds going to the Arnold Chamber of Commerce. The barbecue will be held at the Arnold City Park, as well as the SORC Awards at 7 p.m. The final event is entertainment at Grazers Bar and Grill with Tony’s Tunes at 9 p.m.
