NORTH PLATTE, Neb.— Work will start next Monday, June 29, on Nebraska Highway 92 between Tryon and Stapleton weather permitting, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Work will include milling and asphalt resurfacing, sidewalk accessibility improvements, culvert work, and electrical items. A pilot car and flaggers will maintain traffic for the paving side of operations, while pedestrian access will be maintained at nearby crossings while sidewalk construction happens. A 12 foot width restriction will be in effect.
Anticipated completion of the project is August of this year. NDOT reminds drivers to buckle up, put their phones down, and drive cautiously in and near work zones.
