Deanna Goble, age 69
January 27, 1957 - June 8, 2026

Deanna Kay (Seevers) Goble, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 8, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on January 29, 1957, in Merna, Nebraska, Deanna’s life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and artistic expression.

Born on January 27, 1957, in Merna, NE, Deanna was the cherished daughter of Eugene (Gene) and Margaret (Markie) Seevers. She moved to Sargent in 1970, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, William Vernon Goble, on August 9, 1975. Deanna raised two sons, William (Bill) Eugene Goble and Brandon James Goble, and instilled in them a deep appreciation for family and the simple joys in life, as her parents had done for her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Vernon Goble, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage, celebrating their 50th Anniversary last August. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Margaret (Johnson) Seevers, and grandparents, Xa and Ruth (Farnham) Seevers and R. Claire and Erma (Huffaker) Johnson.

A proud graduate of Sargent High School’s class of 1975, Deanna was known for her quick wit and infectious laughter. Her ability to find humor in any situation brought levity and joy to all who knew her. She had an incredible gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, a testament to her kind and generous spirit that touched countless lives.

Deanna found herself working several fun and interesting jobs over the years, including a flower shop, hardware store, pharmacy, and funeral home. Beyond her working career, Deanna’s heart was devoted to her family. She is survived by her two sons, Bill and Brandon, Bill’s wife Jonna, daughters Lauren and Brynn, and Brandon’s son Gavin. Her sisters, Margene Smith, Arlene Seevers, and Beverly Huhman, remain to honor her memory and continue her legacy of love and kindness.

Deanna’s hobbies were as vibrant and varied as her personality. She had a deep love for Boston Terrier Bulldogs, especially Brindy and Roxie, the “daughters she never had”, and Northern Cardinals, the beautiful red birds that brought her immense joy. An avid cross-stitcher and colored pencil artist, Deanna found peace and expression in her artwork, creating the most beautiful pieces and making it look effortless.

Her personal qualities were as colorful as her art. Deanna’s ability to handle any situation with grace, poise, and laughter was especially evident in the way she raised her two boys, Bill and Brandon, their many cousins, and the numerous childhood friends that were always welcome in her house. All are a testament to her strength and love.

As we remember Deanna, let us carry forward her legacy of laughter, kindness, and artistic spirit. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
