The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce is preparing to kick off another season of Market on the Square this week, bringing local vendors, food, crafts, baked goods, community organizations and more to downtown Broken Bow.
The first Market on the Square event of the 2026 season will take place Thursday, June 4, beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing into the afternoon and early evening. While the official market hours run through 4 p.m., some vendors, particularly food vendors, are expected to remain open later in the day.
Visitors to the opening market will find a variety of offerings from local vendors, including Katie’s Crafts, Something Out of Nothing, Debbiedees Bakery, E-J Eats, Tropical Sno/Twisted B’s, Bennett’s Bakery, ErWinn Gardens and Eggs, The Secret Garden, GG’s Sew Perfect Creations, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Steve’s Rocks and The Selah Chapter.
Throughout the summer, Market on the Square features a diverse mix of vendors selling food, snacks, handmade creations, gifts, produce and specialty items, while also providing space for organizations and community groups to connect with residents.
Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stephanie Grafel said the weekly event has grown into more than just a place to shop.
“We’ve had authors that have come in from different states that just come for the day and sit down and have their books and do signings. And that’s been a lot of fun. We’ve encouraged young and old. It’s been really great to see young entrepreneurs they’re in grade school or middle school or high school and they decide, ‘Hey, I wanna see what it’s like to sell my jewelry or to sell the popcorn that I’m making’ or whatever else,” Grafel said.
Grafel noted that the Chamber continues to welcome new vendors from both the local area and beyond, creating a constantly changing selection of products and experiences for visitors.
