Huskers start Women’s College World Series tonight against Arkansas, listen on KBBN

The No. 1 Nebraska softball team (51-6) will make its eighth Women’s College World Series appearance tonight as it takes on the No. 10 Arkansas Razorbacks at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Pregame coverage on KBBN radio (95.3 FM) will start tonight at 8 PM. First pitch is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. (CT). NU is the No. 4 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and Arkansas is the No. 5 overall seed.

NU finished the regular season with a 43-6 (.878) record, good for the best regular-season winning percentage in program history. At the Lincoln Super Regional, Nebraska beat No. 15 Oklahoma State by scores of 8-1 and 9-1 (5 inn.) to advance to its first WCWS since 2013.
