The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced that work will start Monday, May 18 on Interstate 80 between Brady and Gothenburg, weather permitting.
The work, of which Paulsen Inc. of Cozad is the contractor, is from reference post 205.61 to 213.25. Work will include bridge repairs and asphalt paving.
Traffic will encounter temporary lane closures and a 12 foot width restriction. Completion of the project is anticipated in October of this year.
Motorists are reminted to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
