GALLERY: Litchfield students compete in written, oral spelling bee
6th-8th Grades: 1st Aiden Kearney, 7th grade; 2nd Huntley Zulkoski, 6th grade; 3rd Aubri Corbin, 8th grade; Honorable Mention Evelyn Varah, 6th grade

The 2026 Litchfield Spelling Bee was held this past Friday morning. Those in attendance reported that the event was both fun and competitive. Students competed in both oral and written rounds to determine placement.

First Grade: 1st Decker Golter; 2nd Aiden Reynolds; 3rd Bella Taylor
2nd Grade: 1st Grace Thomas; 2nd Ryker Janssen; 3rd Chanri Naude
3rd Grade: 1st Hattie Snow; 2nd Kayleigh Siegel; 3rd Wyatt Fletcher
4th Grade: 1st Denley Vlieger; 2nd Hudson Varah; 3rd Kesslyn Kusek; Honorable Mention Emmett Pierce
5th Grade: 1st Kenna Feldman; 2nd Ashlynn Spanel; 3rd Amelia Thomas
