The deadline to submit grant applications to the Custer County Foundation is quickly approaching, set for April 30, 2026. The next deadline will be October 31, 2026.
Any nonprofit organization that falls under the guidelines of the foundation’s grant policy can apply. Funds are usually granted in civic, culture, health, education, environment, and social services.
Grants were awarded to 54 Custer County nonprofit organizations last year, totaling nearly $155,000. Since 1991, over $1.3 million worth of grants have been awarded.
Grant applications can be downloaded at CusterCountyFoundation.org or can be picked up at the foundation office at 403 South 9th Avenue in Broken Bow. The foundation asks that applicants review all guidelines and requirements while also taking care to submit a complete application, as incomplete applications won’t be reviewed.
Applications can be dropped off at the foundation office Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM or sent in the mail postmarked by April 30th, 2026.
