Larry was born January 11, 1945, to Clayton and Marjorie (Howard) Bunner of Taylor. He was the second of five children in his family. Larry was a 1962 graduate of Loup County High School in Taylor. After graduation Larry went on to work as a Nebraska Brand Inspector in Kearney and Chappell. Later moving back to Custer County where they farmed and ranched and then worked at B-D in Broken Bow.

On April 25, 1964, he married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Marolyn Angela (Angie) Hyde in the home of Vic and Bea Hyde in rural Comstock. During their 49 years of marriage, Larry and Angie raised five children and were very proud grandparents and great-grandparents. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Larry cherished his family, loved sports and attended as many of his children and grandchildren’s events as he could. Very proudly being their biggest and boldest supporter. He loved having a good cup of coffee while visiting with friends and learning what he could about anyone he met. And of course, his favorite time of year…deer season in November enjoying deer camp.

Larry is survived by his children, Julie (Edward) Bowman of Lincoln, Roger (Jodi) Bunner of Blue Hill, Jana (Rocky) Coons of Milburn, Randy (Jennie) Bunner of Leawood, Kansas, and Stacy (Lance) Ceruti of Rocky Hill,  Connecticut; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley (James) Daughtery, and brothers Robert (Bob) Bunner, Howard (Judy) Bunner; a stepmother, Casey Bunner of Sturgis, South Dakota.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marolyn (Angie) Bunner, his parents, brother-in-law Bob Dembowski,  brother and sister-in-law Royce and Carolyn Bunner, and niece LaLoni Vas.
