Highway work from Broken Bow to Berwyn to begin March 30

The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced that work will start this upcoming Monday (March 30) on a stretch of Highway 2 between Broken Bow and Berwyn.

Work scheduled includes grading, bridge repair, asphalt paving, guardrail, and seeding. Lane restrictions (including an 11 foot width restriction), a pilot car, and flaggers will maintain traffic in addition to traffic signals for bridge work.

Paulsen Inc. of Cozad is the project contractor. Completion is anticipated in December of this year.

Those traveling through the work zone are asked to put down their phones, buckle up, slow down, and drive cautiously.

Work will be from mile marker 280 to 287 on Highway 2 between Broken Bow and Berwyn
