Mid Nebraska Activities Conference Releases All Conference Girls Basketball Selections

The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference has released its all-conference girls basketball selections for the 2025-2026 season. Brady and Anselmo-Merna each had two players named to the all-conference first team with Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford also represented. Rhianen Myers and Lily Thornton of Anselmo-Merna were both first team honorees. AM finished 16-9 on the season and were led in scoring by Myers who averaged 12.8 points per game and Thornton also averaged double figures at 11.3 points per game. Payton Stienike and Lydia McGown of Brady were both first team selections. Brady finished 18-7 this season and was the MNAC conference tournament runner-up. Stienike led Brady in scoring this season at 14.8 points per game and McGown averaged 13.9 points per game for the Eagles. Hayley Donohoe of Mullen was a first team selection. Donohoe helped lead Mullen to the MNAC conference tournament title and a district final appearance this season. Donohoe led the Lady Broncos in scoring averaging 13.1 points per game. Laney Dahlberg of Sandhills/Thedford was a first team honoree. Dahlberg averaged a double/double for the Knights this season averaging 15.5 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game. All conference second team honors went to Riley Hegland (Mullen), Jenna Donohoe (Mullen), Ava Wenzel (Arthur County), Shayleigh Coleman (Anselmo-Merna), and Josie Morrow (Sandhills/Thedford).

Receiving Honorable Mention all-conference were Jaelynn Blackburn (Twin Loup), Kallan Cox (Sandhills/Thedford), Kenlee Fattig (Brady), Emma Stallbaumer (South Loup), Emma Ray (Sandhills/Thedford), LoReena Schauda (Twin Loup), Brynne McCully (Mullen).
