Wild Rose Gallery and CPPD Looking for Your Best Photos

Photographers of all ages are called to submit their best images to the Wild Rose Gallery’s Photo Contest.

This is the first year for the contest hosted by the art studio on the south east side of the Square in Broken Bow, separate from their larger art show held in August every year.

Photos can be of any subject, and the show is open to participants of any level of experience, from amateur to professional artists. Submitted photos should be framed or mounted and ready to be hung at the gallery.

For the inaugural photo contest, the Gallery is partnering with Custer Public Power District. Three photos meeting the District’s own photo contest rules will be selected for inclusion in the 2027 CPPD calendar.

For CPPD entries only, the image must be in a horizontal orientation, 300dpi or greater in a jpeg or tiff file format, and taken in the CPPD service area.

Photo entry day at the Wild Rose Gallery is Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There is a $5.00 entry fee for each photo submitted, but photographers can submit any number of images to the contest.

The photos will then be displayed at the Gallery for two weeks for public viewing. A reception will be held at 2:00 PM on March 28, where the selections by CPPD will be announced, along with other winning images.

Those with questions about the photo contest can call the Gallery at 308-872-2632, or email [email protected].
