Two Appear in Custer County Court on Felony Drug Charges

Taylor Capps, age 30 of Broken Bow, made her first appearance in Custer County Court on Monday, January 12th on two counts. She faces charges of possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine, a Class IV felony, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia—an infraction. A $1,000 personal recognizance bond was set by Judge Tami Schendt and her preliminary hearing was set for February 2nd.

Also in Custer County Court on Monday was Richard E. Brass, Jr., age 32 of Broken Bow. Brass was making his first appearance and faces three counts. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine, a Class IV felony; possession of marijuana, less than one ounce, an infraction; and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction. Judge Schendt set a personal recognizance bond in the amount of $1,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Brass on February 2nd.
