Nebraska Men’s Basketball Ranked in the Top Ten

The Nebraska men’s basketball team cracked the top ten this week. The Huskers are ranked #10 in the latest AP Poll released this afternoon (1/5). According to the Omaha World Herald, it is the first time Nebraska has been ranked in the top ten since the 1965-66 season. Nebraska moved up three spots from last week thanks largely to their win last Friday against then #9 ranked Michigan State. Michigan State dropped three spots to #12 in this week’s poll.

Other Big Ten teams ranked in the top 25 this week include Michigan (#2), Purdue (#5), Illinois (#16) and Iowa (#19).

The Huskers are back in action tonight when they play at Ohio State. The game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM with coverage on the Huskers Radio Network beginning at 4:30. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30.
