SEM hosted its girls wrestling invitational on Saturday.  Broken Bow claimed the team championship with 103.5 points.  Three points separated the top three teams in the standings.  Wilber-Clatonia was runner up with 102 points and Ansley/Litchfield was third with 100.5 points.  SEM placed fourth in the team standings with 84 points.

Broken Bow had two individual champions with Zoe Jones winning the championship at 115 lbs. and Ida Bumgarner was champion at 190 lbs.  Other top four finishes for the Lady Indians included Alexis Pflaster runner up at 145 lbs.  Dacie Henderson was third at 105 lbs. and Lailah Jones was third at 120.

Ansley/Litchfield had two individual champions with Gracie Reitz winning the title at 125 lbs. and Clysta Brott was champion at 130.  Other top four finishes for the Lady Spartans included Bayler Clay runner up at 100 lbs. and Addie Boyles finished 4th at 100.  Jenna Drahota was fourth at 105, Jaycee Vogel was fourth at 140, and Isabelle Plunkett was runner up at 190 lbs.

SEM’s Olivia McDonald was champion at 120 lbs.  Finishing runner up in their weight class for the Lady Mustangs were Lily Hrasky at 125 lbs. and Ellie Scoville at 155.  Other top four finishes for SEM included Joselyn Alspaugh fourth at 110 lbs. and Kaiya Ellis was fourth at 135.

Other area highlights included Rylee Kursave of Arcadia/Loup City winning the championship at 170 lbs.
