Broken Bow Chamber Sponsors Festival Of Lights to Start Off the Holiday Season

Get ready for another Hallmark-worthy Christmas Celebration in Broken Bow Monday evening.

Broken Bow will kick off the holiday season with its annual Festival of Lights Parade and celebration on the down town square. Chamber of Commerce Director Stephanie Grafel spoke with KCNI/KBBN about the celebration.

“Festival of lights will start at four o’clock on Monday,” Grafel said. “It is such a fun time – I know it’s going to be a little chilly, but we can handle this. We’re Nebraskans.”

Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their appearance, along with reindeer, snacks, and activities around the bandstand at the start of the festivities. The evening will end with the parade, lighting of the Christmas lights, and caroling around the square.

“Six o’clock is when the parade will start. And as soon as the parade is over, stick around for the lighting of the square,” said Grafel.

More information about this and other holiday activities around town, can be found on the Broken Bow Chamber’s Facebook Page.
