The Gathering Place in Arcadia will be hosting its annual soup and sandwich dinner at the Arcadia Community Center at Hawthorne & Owens Street on Sunday, November 9, from 11:30 to 1:30.
Three kinds of soup – chicken noodle, chili, and vegetable beef – with sloppy joes or hot ham and cheese sandwiches will be available, along with a drink and desserts too numerous to mention. Prices remain the same at $10 for adults and $6 for children twelve and under.
In addition, a handmade Christmas wreath will be raffled off during the dinner.
Funds raised at the soup and sandwich dinner will support restoration of the Gathering Place Church in Arcadia.
