Three cases progress forward in Custer County District Court

Three cases moved forward in Custer County District Court on Thursday.

Jimmy Mortensen, age 61 of Oconto, reached a plea agreement with the state for reduced charges. He pled guilty to a class I misdemeanor charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 12 days served. The judge allowed Mortensen to turn himself in on Monday as a part of the agreement.
